The Special Event Caterers
We experienced something of an epiphany one Saturday in February while removing the exterior holiday decorations when a new customer drove past the store several times slowly before finally slowing down to ask “Is this the bakery?” This took place after being in business for over 8 months, advertising repeatedly in various local media and after participating in both the Italian Festival and the Apple Harvest Festival the prior season(s), as well as a Buffalo Wing competition and a Chili cook-off. We realized Paul Gregory’s was not, in and of itself, despite the tag line, Bistro, Café and Market, entirely descriptive of who we are and what we do. Driven by this realization, we created additional signage for the front façade of the store and down-selected eight, key descriptive words which communicate to the first-time visitor, newcomer or drive-by, more clearly who we are and what we do at Paul Gregory’s. Those signs and descriptive words represent the various departments and focus of Paul Gregory’s. They are as follows: Bakery, Coffee, Deli, Gelato, Prepared Meals, Italian Specialty, Pasta, and Caterers.
